Pretty cool...
Ok first off I wanna say that the parents that ordered these did not even care to look at the picture. Theres a guy with a bazoka ( this is a weapon used in war to BLOW UP enemys! ) And that guy is the only reason I bought this set. The Punisher is the name of this figure. He is a repaint of the Punisher from series 4. The head sculpt is really cool, and the bazoka really goes great with it. I don't care about spiderman because A) The character is a abomination to comics and B) Its a crummy repaint of a figure thats worth 25 cents. And because of this repaint I rank it down to 15 cents. Daredevil is HEAVILY shaded and you can barely see the DD symbol on his chest. Electra...I displayed her in a stabbing pose with my Punisher. Well I really wouldn't buy this set but if you really want the Punisher or any of the other characters then I would try to find it cheaper.
Even The Webslinger Couldn't Save This Set
The idea was great. Make a collection of figures based on their popularity and the fact that they all appeared in films as of late, put'em in one box and call it the "Urban Legends" collection. Sounds perfect, right? Unfortunately, whoever designed these toys forgot that even collectors like a little quality now and then.

Here's a breakdown of each figure, including postive and negative aspects of each:

Spider-Man: Best figure of the set, probably because he has the least gadgets to fool with. The fingers are placed in the web-shooting position. This figure is very poseable and was the only figure in my set that actually fit the base that came with it.

Daredevil: Pretty good figure, but his points of articulation were very stiff. The paint job was excellent. His walking stick/weapon looks good in his belt pouch, and that's where you'll want to keep it. It's hard to get back into his belt.

Punisher: Good figure, though the right hand on my particular figure is very, very loose. So loose, in fact, that he can't hold the bazooka that comes with him. The trench coat is a nice touch, but it is cheaply made.

Elektra: Worst figure of the set. Paint job was atrocious. She actually has too many points of articulation and they are very stiff. This figure is very poorly made.

Now don't think I'm a jerk for ripping this set. The price is very good, but I'd only buy this again if I knew that the Punisher and Elektra figures were in better shape. If you are a fan of either, you may want to look for their individual figures. I purchased these figures for a collection. I have no intention of giving them to children to play with, so the durability isn't that major of an issue. However, posing the characters in a display case is problematic because I do not want to damage them any more than they were when I purchased them.

In closing, the set is a great idea, but you may want to steer clear of this one if you already have any of these figures in your collection. I do recommend it for the Spider-Man and Daredevil figures, though, since both of these are very nice figures.
great value, excelent set
first off the whole marvel legends line is possibly the best toyline ever, i feel nerdish being a 16 year old with a set of superhero figures in my room but they're just plain cool. I'm gonna skip strait to what you should know- if you're buying for a kid then make sure you know electra's bust is *ahem* there, it's not as bad as the angry parents put it but it's definately PG-13 stuff, and if you're big on "No Violence" then i first ask you why are you even looking at this?, secondly, that punisher has alot of ammo in ALL his incarnations, this included. as for everything else, the figures look great, are sturdy, and have more movement than ANY figure out there, heck i can make spidy go into meditation. I heard daredevil was the worst in the Legends line but i disagree, he's not unbelievable but still good. If you're fine with Electra's "exectra's" and punisher's support of the 2nd amendment then it's a great set, with a better deal. BUY IT NOW!
Nice Set
Well, I'm not too fond of the characters in the set cause I generally just collect the female action figures, but this was a nice set of figures nonetheless. Elektra's new headsculpt is pretty weird lookin, but her costume looks great in white. Spiderman is a fun figure to pose. Punisher's jacket was unneccessary and Daredevil was a little too scrawny and short in comparison to the other figures in the series. It was a great price though and they are a nice addition to the Marvel Legends collection. Oh, and the figures arrived in great condition....the poster book bent on one corner though.
Stunk!
It fell apart! I opend it and Spider Man left arm was off and daredevil from the knee down it wasn't even there! Do not get this toy!!!!!!!!!!!

Review – Marvel Legends 2-packs

Posted by admin Aug 01, 2010COMMENTS

This movement of Marvel Legends 2-packs includes three sets – Maria Hill w/ Iron Man, Yield Ninja w/ Police station Turbulence, and Skrull Soldier w/ Kree Soldier. It’s unclear whether a fourth set is coming out as planned – many retailers listed an Unperceived Miss w/ Weak Torch.

Beat it Indignation & To Ninja (Ninjas Vs. Wonderful Spies) – The Jurisdiction Ninja would in all probability be the coolest chassis in this assortment if it wasn’t for the Skrull, which I’ll cloak later. If it wasn’t for some limits in articulation, he could be even more intelligent. He is culminate with 24 points of articulation, but unfortunately, he’s pretty restricted in his neck and waist/things due to the thick set-up. That said, the paraphernalia is a blinding item of this plate. The layered panoply gives him a very removed look and deeply. He’s equipped with a triplet of swords and a set of nunchuks. Beat it Ire is in truth a 2-in-1 configuration, featuring an additional crisis that allows for an alternate display as a S.H.I.E.L.D. Soldier. He comes with a heater, rummage through and stiletto, the former two being clever to fit into holsters on his box and leg, severally. The legal arm league together and district are both unyoke entities from the company and could be removed with a teeny-weeny deed. His casket holster is removable via a peg connector. Virago features 30 points of articulation.

There’s no true middle ground with The Wizard of Oz . Either you love its overflowing sentimentality and sugar-coded Technicolor dreamscape or you despise its sugary, saccharine schmaltz. You beam whenever champion child star Judy Garland belts out “Over the Rainbow” or run in terror during those ominous opening strains. It’s hard to be ambivalent, the movie’s moxie making it difficult to ignore its earnest desire to entertain and yet it’s that very hyperbolic happiness that drives many modern audiences to dismiss the movie as antique, artificial, and aggravating. Well, perhaps Blu-ray can help turn the tide. After seeing the sensational 70th Anniversary edition of the film, fully restored to a high gloss HD sheen, few will ever view it as an amiable artifact from a bygone era. Instead, it will be seen as the masterpiece it is.

Everyone knows (or should know) the story by now - little Dorothy Gale, desperate to save her dog Toto from the evil clutches of local busybody Miss Almira Gulch, runs away from home, leaving her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry and handyman Hunk, Hickory and Zeke to worry about her. Thanks to the wise words of flim flam man fortune teller, Professor Marvel, she decides to return. As a twister descends on her Kansas farm, she is caught up in the maelstrom. Her house is blown into the whirlwind, ending up in the merry old land of Oz.

Marvel Legends Loose Joints?

Aphelion05 asks: I just got my Marvel Legends Spider-Man Sinister Six set and I love the Spidey figure included in the set but his torso joint is loose so it looks like he's ALWAYS looking at the sky.
Is there anyway for me to tighten it?

breakdown1942 answers: Some action figures (like Transformers) will sometimes include these really thin clear rubber bands. On my Marvel Legends, I usually just try to put those into the joints to make them tighter while still allowing the joint to move and the rubber bands are hard to see, or hidden completely if they fit all the way in there.
