Comic Statues & Busts: Marvel Legends Sabretooth from Marvel Legends

Sabretooth is a very big figure compared to the other marvel legends and comes with a huge base (biggest one out the lot). Lets start with the sculpt- the head sculpt is incredible! toybiz have really done well on this head, it is really detailed and creates a great emotion (scary) on his face, the rest of his body is up to toybiz standard (pretty good). Articulation-when i got this i thought there wasnt going to be much articulation as it was a big figure but i was very suprised! there is loads you can do with him, the posing possibilities are endless! The only point i would like to make is the fur around his neck limits the head movement which is a bit dissapointing but its not that bad.The colouring of the figure is spot on to the comics which makes it so much better. As i said before the base is huge! it is part of a broken leg/foot of a sentinal which is pretty cool.The base is wall mountable as always with marvel legends. Thank heaven they came out with someone you can pit against all of your Wolverine figures. Sabretooth is very nice!! ToyBiz actually put some thought into their lineup for Marvel Legends Series 5. They really have some good characters this time. Sabretooth is in a great scale for the X-men Classics line and previous Marvel Legends Wolverine figures. He towers over Wolverine and looks absolutely vicious. This figure is worth every penny you pay. Articulation is just fine and not overdone with joints in the middle of the thigh or shin like I've seen in the past. A beautifully done X-Men villian. Hopefully, they can do as well with all the future X-Men villians.

Pretty shotty craftsmanship on this figure by Toybiz. I guess I got a defective figure cuz the waist was so loose that Sabretooth's torso spun 360 degrees around all the time. Plus his thumb broke off immediately cuz you can't tell what parts are articulated. This Sabretooth could not heal himself from these injuries so he had to be sent back to the lab. This Sabretooth LOOKS cool and fearsome (menacing expression, sharp claws) but he does NOT hold up as far as durability and poseability. Thumbs down.

The current leader of the New Exiles and the only true hero version of Sabretooth - every other dimensional version was a psychotic, backstabbing killer. In the Age of Apocalypse comic books he's sometimes depicted wearing a cape/cloak. Personally I would have prefered if this one had one because that looks really cool. Contrary to the review above - which sounds like a factory defect which should have been returned to the store (Which happens to all toys) - the fingers and articulation is in fact excellent as each finger individually flexes at the knuckles - except for the thumbs. At first glance it looks like a rebuild of the Wonder Man figure, but with larger arms and a fine snarling face. His pony-tail is also articulated and you can spin it around. He poses well with a figurine from the short lived series from Marvel for the Age of Apocalypse "Marvel's Most Wanted: Blink - with teleporter base."

First off..This figure looks AWFUL! His skin is golden brown and he is bulky up top. Next is the fact he had gloves on most of the time and used a chain.Toy Biz made a AOA Sabretooth with a AOA Wild Child back in the day. Sad thing is that figure actually looked WAY better!The only reason I bought this and the melted head waste of money is for the Giantman parts.

U GOTTA HAVE SOME VERSION OF SABRETOOTH IN UR COLLECTIN OF CHARACTERS IF UR A TRUE FAN OF MARVEL COMICS, & THIS VERSION SEEMS 2 REPRESENT WHO HE REALLY IS...... FIND IT,,,,,,BUT IT & NEVER LET IT OUTTA UR SITE..........
