Suprisingly SatisfyingThis toy is useful. I say that because Toybiz has given us so many Wolverines, but not really enough good Sabretooths for them to fight. I confess I didn't want this at first. But now, I'm very glad to have it! 44 points of articulation! This is the most poseable action figure I've ever seen! Unfortunately, so many joints cuts down on durability a little, but not too much. The paint is done very well. He looks just like the comic book character. I am very fond of the painting job on the fur. However, some figures have a sloppy paint job. Now for the sculpt. The muscles look fairly realistic, but the best part is the face. It is so detailed! He even has individually sculpted teeth! The sculpt is very realistic and still "comic-booky". It looks great! This is a great figure! If you pick it up(and you should), be sure to get brown Wolverine too. They look great together!
sabertooth is one of the best marvel legends yet! This review is by Diablo 15: This was my first marvel legend figure and Sabertooth was the perfect way to start of my collection. I am glad they made sabertooth in his costume because I found his costume to look better than the regular clothes they have been showing him in recently. His facial expression is good but I wouldn't like it on anyone else. He is the most flexible marvel legends yet with 44 points of articulation the only thing wrong with that is that he cant stand to well. His display stand is a sentinals leg ( gambit comes with the arm, collosus with the chest and magneto with the head and the series 8 ice man coming out in december comes with another arm). I am just starting to collect marvel legends so far I have saberthooth(obviosly) and thing and I would of had the cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool coool deadpool and doop if an evil person hadn't ordered it while it was in my shopping cart, shame on that evil person! Oh well I shall obtian the awesome deadpool and doop one way or another. Back to Sabertooth, if you are a fan of marvel legends, X-men or sabertooth this will be a very good addition to your collection.
Nice...Good figure! I love my Sabretooth. His detail is amazing! Articulation is great...he has 44 points of ariculation (the most of any of the Marvel Legends toys). Definitely a must-have! The only durability problem is the ankles arent that great, but they hold up decently.
Sabretooth is so cool!Sabretooth is a very big figure compared to the other marvel legends and comes with a huge base (biggest one out the lot). Lets start with the sculpt- the head sculpt is incredible! toybiz have really done well on this head, it is really detailed and creates a great emotion (scary) on his face, the rest of his body is up to toybiz standard (pretty good). Articulation-when i got this i thought there wasnt going to be much articulation as it was a big figure but i was very suprised! there is loads you can do with him, the posing possibilities are endless! The only point i would like to make is the fur around his neck limits the head movement which is a bit dissapointing but its not that bad.
The colouring of the figure is spot on to the comics which makes it so much better. As i said before the base is huge! it is part of a broken leg/foot of a sentinal which is pretty cool.
The base is wall mountable as always with marvel legends. Also the figure comes with a comic book which is cool to read.
To conclude this review, sabretooth is an amazing figure and a must for all ages and colectors (like me!)
AN AWESOME FIGURE!!Thank heaven they came out with someone you can pit against all of your Wolverine figures. Sabretooth is very nice!! ToyBiz actually put some thought into their lineup for Marvel Legends Series 5. They really have some good characters this time. Sabretooth is in a great scale for the X-men Classics line and previous Marvel Legends Wolverine figures. He towers over Wolverine and looks absolutely vicious. This figure is worth every penny you pay. Articulation is just fine and not overdone with joints in the middle of the thigh or shin like I've seen in the past. A beautifully done X-Men villian. Hopefully, they can do as well with all the future X-Men villians.
