Do I really have to buy it?
This particular figure has been the pet-peeve of a lot of Marvel Legends collectors. To begin with, it's really ugly. I mean REALLY ugly. It is, afterall, Wolverine with his face melted off. That, and the fact that the claws from his amputated left hand are extended, are the only differences between this and the Age of Apocalypse Wolverine. And as with most Wolverine figurines, the claws may come askew (Exposing them to heat and holding them in the proper position till they've cooled sometimes helps) As a variant, it's hard to find. As a collector, you really don't want it and buying it makes you feel like the corporate giants are laughing at you (Unless you're a collector who's really into Wolverine or into the "tortured soul" type of characters. The only real reason why you have to find this is that Giant Man's left hand is included int the pacakge and Giant Man is a definite must have. You've come this far in the collection, you might as well complete it...

Seriously Toy Biz, What is the point of even making variations anyway? I know that it is fun for buyers to search and find one. Also a different look may be desired such as unmasked. But Toy Biz does not get any extra money for it.This figure is crap! Who want a burned face Weapon X? If they fealt like we NEED this head and claw then why not have it in the regular one to pop off and switch?Also why would you, after KNOWING full well people want to finish the BAF, put the last part with this figure? I bought mine for $20 on ebay. Just for this Toy Biz deserved to close down!

Bearded Sentry Bad A$$
This variant of The sentry was non- existent in my pert of the US. I thought it was just a myth, all I have seen prior is the bearded in bright yellow/ Clean shaven bright yellow, and dark mustard clean shaven. But I now have found him and he is awesome! Hes like Superman and Thor mixed together. Hes an awesome character to say the least (Sentry :Bob Reynolds) He had such inner conflicts to overcome and its a shame the marvel U, offed him as a character. Well now he sits with the rest of my avengers looking oddly similar to a dark yellow and blue Garbed Jesus, bring peace to the toy collection. All an all an awesome figure.

Great Marvel Legend!
This is one great Marvel Legends figure! It depicts the Marvel Comics character perfectly. It has a great paint job and in my opinion its probably the best figure in the Giant Man Series!
Great re-make
Captain Britain is a remake/repaint of Wonderman's body, save for the helmet & boots. However it's one of the finer remakes that Hasbro has made. It makes Wonderman look like the remake because the look suits Captain Britain more. The articulation is so-so, the arms are a bit short so they don't cross very far across his very big barrel chest, but he does look incredible when mounted and posed to fly. I'd daresay he's inspiring in that pose. The only question unresolved with this figure is if there is a variant or not. If you compare the packaging with the figure, Captain Britain's union-jack uniform is the updated one, and not the uniform he wore when Excalibur was formed - which is on the package. I would love to have the variant as well if there was one. Captain Britain also comes wih the upper-right leg of Giant-Man who is a must complete figure.

"THE BEAVER"           HH1/2                     (PG-13) Century Regency. Mel Gibson plays a man mired in depression, who almost loses his family and business before being saved when a beaver hand puppet apparently starts talking for him. This is a sincere directorial effort by Jodie Foster, has a wonderful performance by Gibson, and is almost successful despite the premise of the screenplay. But as good as Gibson is, his character is still caught between the tragedy of the man and the absurdity of the beaver. From Roger Ebert. 91 minutes.
