It's the quintessential Man of Steel! One of the most fondly remembered depictions of Superman is now available as a commemorative statue exclusively from DC Direct. Christopher Reeve strikes an iconic pose from the classic 1978 feature film Superman - the movie that made the world believe "a man could fly" and turned the actor into a star.

Standing atop an S-shield base, the Christopher Reeve as Superman Statue is a limited-edition, hand-painted, cold-cast porcelain statue measuring approximately 12.50" tall x 5.5" wide x 3.75" deep. (The base measures approximately .75" high x 6.5" diameter.)

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this item will be donated to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.

The statue includes a 4-color Certificate of Authenticity and is packaged
in a 4-color box. Manufactured to order.

not really a toy

Well, 1st off the category is wrong, this is not a toy!!, therefore no educational value, bad durability as toy, is not even fun, if on the other hand you consider this a collectible item, well then is 10!!, the craftmanship on the statue is great, the details is super neat,the shinny boots and the colors are great,even the little wrinkels on the elbows, wonderful. I have loved the superman caracter for ages, and of course, Christopher is the best Superman ever, probaly many years before matched. so having this little statue at home makes you feel you even have him for supper any night, is a wonderful item and yes is worth the money. do you fancy to fly away???

Perfect scale for the Lynda Carter Wonder Woman!
My wife is the DC fan going back to her love of Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman and Chris Reeves as Superman in the 70's. I had gotten her the Wonder Woman statue last year and saw this Superman and hoped and prayed it would look good next to the previous statue. WOW! Perfect scale! Even the bases are similar, the two statues look fantastic together! They did a great job on the portrait on both statues, really fantastic stuff. If you like this one, hunt down the Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman statue and enjoy them together!

Our grandson broke the previous Superman collectible that we had - my husband was devastated....but then I found this replacement, and I think he likes it better than the original one had. I would recommend to anyone considering. Very durable, heavy, and just a nice item!
