Solicited this month is Part 1 of this multi-part statue, featuring Robin and Catwoman reclining on a gargoyle. Part 2 (to be solicited next month) will feature Huntress and Nightwing, and Part 3 (to be solicited in December) will feature Batwoman and Commissioner Gordon.

The bases of each piece slide together to form a shot of the Batman family on a rooftop overlooking Gotham City. Each of the three parts includes a piece of the fourth portion of the scene, which can be easily assembled to form Batman, who looms in the back of the scene. All three parts of the statue are needed to make Batman.

Part 1 of the statue measures approximately 10â? high x 6â? wide x 6.5â? deep, while the entire multi-part statue measures approximately 11â? high x 17â? wide x 11.5â? deep when fully assembled.

For over three thousand years, ancient Egyptian sculptors created statues of deities, kings and lite officials and their families. This book examines the materials and techniques employed by sculptors and various statue types and poses that occur. Next it explores the function of statues and the different contexts for which they were made.
