Marvel Legends Showdown Booster Pack - "Beast"

The 4â Showdown figures roughly mirror the overall aesthetic and articulation of their larger Marvel Legends counterparts. The figures come with Showdown game accessories, display bases and mounting posts. The Beast is represented in his standard furry blue incarnation, apparently armed only with his natural weapons and high-grade mentality. Initially the Beast looked human but had developed hints of simian anatomy, which reinforced his strength and athletic abilities. Later, he used his profound scientific mind and knack for chemistry to attempt to reverse his physically anomalies. The experiment went opposite of the intended effect, and the Beast became a beast---blue fur, fangs, claws. Still, he grew accustomed to his new form and learned to accept all of anomalies, even capitalizing upon them.

VERY COOL
This has to be the best beast figure ever to be made. Y love it so much, the articulation is great and i really like the jaw articulation. the detail is very nice especially in the head, looks just like him. The base...well the base is a bit to small but never the less its a great figure. You have to have it!

this toy is great. u gotta trust me. this toy has a lot of pionts of articulation and is amazingly poseable. even its mouth opens. i play with it almost every day! it is WAY COOL!!

A BEAUTIFUL BEAST FIGURE!!
This figure of a popular character is worth every penny!! He's very poseable, durable, and his likeness is right on target. I prefer the classic Beast look as opposed to the newer versions of Beast. Even his thumbs and fingers have articulation. You can really have fun with this figure putting him in different action and fighting poses. The fact that Beast's hands and feet are unusually large help keep him from falling down on some of the more awkward poses. At first, I thought he had too much articulation. Or, I thought he had too much articualtion in one area and not enough in another. It turns out that this figure was very well done. Nice job, ToyBiz!
A great figure of my favorite X-Man
Sorry, all you Wolverine and Gambit fans out there -- for my money, the Beast has always been the coolest of the X-Men. Sharp, witty, brilliant and an overall great character -- and with this figure we've finally got a great action figure of the Beast in his classic form.

This sturdy figure has a fantastic sculpt and TONS of articulation. He's easily poseable and comes with a pretty good base to climb upon. If that three-star rating in the "educational" category seems odd, it's because it comes with a reprint of an X-Men comic book in it, and anything that gets kids to read gets bonus points in my book. I just wish they had selected an issue of X-Men that had more to do with the Beast, he's really just a bit player in that comic. I suspect it was chosen primarily because there's a great Jim Lee drawing of the character on the cover.

If you like the Beast, this is the figure to get.

X-Men First Class Begins Filming February 2010? -

With the stylish Disney/Marvel have to do with, studios like Twentieth Century Fox will get to remember their too soon deals with Marvel.  In other words, as big as they keep making movies on the properties they keep fast the rights to, they get to keep them.  How hanker this will last is a mini unclear.  With the X-Men capital goods, there are a few movies that Fox is planning on making including Deadpool, Magento and another Wolverine moving picture.  While there hasn't been any proper pronouncement, it appears that X-Men: First Grade will be the next mutant silent picture that Fox will get under way. It def. would hand over coherence to do a "X-Men First Division" murkiness following the illusion of the unsophisticated mutants in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.  From where one stands, I would rather it be a video receiver series on ABC do go principal to superintendent with Heroes.  But with the declaration that obviously the blemished Wolvie blur isn't being unshakable tracked, this would be the next rational sentiment to do as far as the X-microcosm, aright? ...
