Reviews

just what i wanted
I got what I was looking for. I bought this for my son who enjoys the Beast figure very much. He likes the realistic features of the toy and movable parts.
This figure rules, plain and simple.
He looks so much like movie Hank, with great detail on the 'fur' texture. Very well articulated, as well... the jacket restricts arm motion to some degree, but not so much that he won't be in the running for most articulated figure in your collection at his size. His upper arms can't be raised *too* much higher than you see in the picture, but if you don't need him to do jumping jacks, you'll be amazed at how many ways he can be posed. I wish the picture showed a close-up of the knees and elbows, but do you see the build-a-figure arm, the way the upper arm and forearm attach not to each other, but to a small "elbow" piece? Beast's knees and elbows are the same, allowing for more posing possibilities *and* less of the doll-joint look at once. Wrists also turn and bend, ankles also turn, even the toes can be raised or lowered, fitting for the ape-like Beast. He can bend at the waist *and* stomach, as well as twist at the waist. He can't look up much higher than straight ahead, but the...
Excellent Movie-Based Beast!
If you are looking to expand your line of superhero movie-based action figures, the Marvel Legends X-3 Beast is a must have, and being a big fan of Kelsey Grammer from "Frasier", this is doubly cool to me. The likeness to Dr. Hank McCoy, as played by Kelsey, is amazing in this highly detailed action figure. The size seems to be fine too, since the back of the figure's card describes him as 5'11, so I guess that's how tall he was supposed to be in the movie. Standing next to my other figures, he looks about right. The figure is highly articulated, though it is true that his jacket limits some arm movement. He looks great though, and since I mainly bought him as a display piece, no problems here! There are two pieces of Annihilus, a large figure you can build by collecting this wave of Marvel Legends figures, but since I am focused on movie figures, I don't expect to be making him myself.

X-Men First Class Begins Filming February 2010? -

Posted by admin Feb 07, 2012

With the stylish Disney/Marvel have to do with, studios like Twentieth Century Fox will get to remember their too soon deals with Marvel.  In other words, as big as they keep making movies on the properties they keep fast the rights to, they get to keep them.  How hanker this will last is a mini unclear.  With the X-Men capital goods, there are a few movies that Fox is planning on making including Deadpool, Magento and another Wolverine moving picture.  While there hasn't been any proper pronouncement, it appears that X-Men: First Grade will be the next mutant silent picture that Fox will get under way. It def. would hand over coherence to do a "X-Men First Division" murkiness following the illusion of the unsophisticated mutants in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.  From where one stands, I would rather it be a video receiver series on ABC do go principal to superintendent with Heroes.  But with the declaration that obviously the blemished Wolvie blur isn't being unshakable tracked, this would be the next rational sentiment to do as far as the X-microcosm, aright? ...

JASON FLEMYNG is a regular collaborator with filmmaker Matthew Vaughn, having appeared in Kick-Ass, Stardust and Layer Cake (which Vaughn directed) and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch and Swept Away (which Vaughn produced, alongside director Guy Ritchie).

Now he is playing the red-skinned, demonic-looking mutant Azazel in Vaughn's X-Men: First Class, released in the UK on June 1.

Flemyng is no stranger to comic book adaptations. As well as Kick-Ass, he was also in From Hell and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, adapted from the graphic novels of UK comic book legend Alan Moore; and more recently in Solomon Kane, based on Robert E. Howard's pulp fiction character who's also featured in Marvel and Dark Horse titles.

Marvel [Beast] Question.?

A.Ven.Ger asks: Okay, so Beast used to be a human and even appeared in
the X Men Comic as a human but his dna got altered and
what not and he turned into what he is now,
so why is he considered a mutant shouldn't he be considered a Altered Human???

dudemahn069 answers: His mutant powers were not always his just his physical blue appearance that people come to recognize him now of. He did have larger arms, legs and feet to help him bounce and jump all over the place like an ape, but he didn't get his gray or/and blue

He's always been "Beast" But for most of the time, he used a serum to keep the mutant gene down, but as he started to grow immune to the serum, he turned permanently into "Beast"

Is there a Marvel character that can turn into any animal like Beast Boy?

Smart asks:

answers: Yeah
