Started back in 1977, Frameline has been highlighting the best of LGBT media, and their Film Festival is one of the ways they do this. Frameline 35 runs from June 16 - June 26 and this year the festival boasts over 200 films (this includes a lot of short films) from 30 countries including South Africa, Iran, Belgium, Algeria, and Thailand. Assuming you're not a member of Frameline.org, tickets for films go on sale June 3rd. The screenings are split between three locations in San Francisco including Castro Theatre, Roxie Theater, and Victoria Theater.
