Nice Toy!!
Wow!! This toy is so cool! It looks just like Scarecrow in the movie!! My only dissapointment is that there are so many batman figures and only one scarecrow (from Batman Begins) I really think they should make another one!!
So does Scarecrow really have two heads in the movie
I noticed by pressing its arm down he has two different heads. One has glow up eyes, and the other is just normal. I didn't like this very much. I also think they could of gave him a hat. Overall this figure is allright.
creepy toy!
I love this action figure. It comes with a gun thingy(probably to shoot out the fear gas). It is a cool accesory, but it is to big.It also has two faces(one is the scary fear gas version, and one is the regular version). This is an awesome!
Could Have Been Better
The Scarecrow, villian in this summer's eagerly anticipated "Batman Begins," appears to be the only villian figure in the "Batman Begins" line, which I find kind of disappointing (a couple of street punks for Batman to battle, anyone?). Nevertheless, this makes it a must for both collectors and children.

The sculpting on the figure is very nice, especially on the Scarecrow's head and the buckles on his straitjacket. The body has a weird proportion to it, and I assume this, coupled with the second head, is how his victims see him under his "fear gas," and works very well. This actually has more points of articulation than the other two figures I have ("Battle Gear Batman" and "Ninja Bruce to Batman"), with twelve (knees, hips, waist, shoulders, elbows, neck, and wrists, which the others do not have). Paint is very good, especially around the buckles and things on the Scarecrow's chest.

As far as accessories Scarecrow has one: a gun presumably used to shoot fear gas of something, but which in reality shoots water. It's a nice accessory, well sculpted, but I am wary of its durability. That looks like something to watch out for.

This is the only figure in this line that I have seen to have an action feature. When you press Scarecrow's right arm down, his head flips around from the "normal" version to the "scary" version (fear gas effects, perhaps?). The different faces are nice, and overall it wouldn't be a bad action feature, as action features go, but that leaves his right arm up at a goofy 90 degree angle. His right hand is the one sculpted to hold the gun, but the action feature makes it difficult for him to aim his gun at anything. On the flip side (pun intended), Scarecrow's "scary" face has eyes that light up when he's placed under a light source. This works very well, and adds plus points to the figure.

Overall, a decent figure hurt by its action feature. Some have been hard on this figure, but, without the action feature, it could have been a decent toy. It truly makes me thankful the others I have weren't burdened by similar devices. I have been waiting for a long time for the end of action features, and it looks like, until that day comes, we will still have decent figures in goofy poses.
The most frightening Batman action figure around!!
I purchased this toy(the last,to be exact)from the local Wal-mart store, unsure whether it was worth the money or not. When I finally opened the action figure at home, I realized I had a gold mine:

The Batman Begins' incarnation of the Scarecrow is much more scary than any other I've seen, partially because they've made him in(pretty much)human clothing and partially because they've made the mask very icky and natural-looking. The result? A strange being that appears to be a zombie with two oversized human hands.

The action figure itself has two faces. You can change them at any time by pulling down the right arm(which also holds the weapon). Both faces are frightening and if you hold the toy directly under the light, the yellow eyes will glow. The weapon that comes with the Scarecrow can be filled with water and fired by squeezing it.

On the whole, a very nice toy. If you're looking for an action figure that can do a dozen different things, this may not be the one for you. However, if you're collecting these fabulous figures or you just want something that looks good on your desk or dresser, buy it.

The definitive Scarecrow figure
After two years of unfounded rumors and poor marketing tactics, Mattel has finally rebooted the Dark Knight Movie Masters line with a handful of great new figures, including this Scarecrow which I came across on a total fluke at Toys R Us and at a considerably lesser cost than most of the sellers here on Amazon are advertising.

Donning a slick new suit instead of the frumpy straightjacket featured on the 2008 Scarecrow figure, this is a much better representation of how he actually appears in the Dark Knight film, albeit briefly. Great attention was paid not only to the sculpting of details such as the folds and textures of the clothes, but to the paint job as well which many toy collectors should appreciate. Unfortunately, unlike the "jail cell" Joker, the Scarecrow was not given a brand new facial sculpt for 2010, and instead re-uses the exact same head as the first one. But in all honesty, I don't know how they could have improved on his look anyway, aside from maybe including an alternate, interchangeable Jonathan Crane head altogether. It also includes the same "crime scene evidence" mask with no other accessories. Yet despite those minor fallbacks, it overall proves to be a well made figure for one of my favorite Batman villains and definitely surpasses the 2008 Movie Masters Scarecrow in terms of authenticity.
