Well Done, Detective!
Straight from the animated series, Ras Al Ghul is one of the best action figures from the series. He sports ancient armor with tons of additional items including an Anubis mask, sword, and a rocket launcher (which could also be a spear launcher). A great toy for any age.

Movie Masters Scarecrow
Like all the Movie Masters figures, this figure is highly-detailed and shows the scarecrow in all his hideous glory (of course it's not as good as the joker i.m.o.). Found two the other day and bought them both--one for me and one to sell to a friend. They're both still in the package and I plan on leaving mine in it, but it seems like a really cool figure which far surpasses the ordinary fear-shot scarecrow, and it comes with a knitted cloth mask for crime-scene evidence that looks exactly like the one in the movie. Not sure how rare this thing is, but it definitely doesn't seem like an item to pass up for any collector or hardcore Dark Knight fan. It's no joker (and will probably never match it in value), but pretty cool nonetheless.
Scared Silly
This is probably one of the best Scarecrow toys ever. The figure has great detail and comes with an evidence bag and a small scarecrow mask that is meant to be placed in the bag like it is evidence from a crime scene. Although the figure does not have any other additional items, the detail and display of the figure more than compensate for this deficiency.
A Fantastic, But Too Tough To Get, Toy Line Continues!
Sometime back, I saw the first bunch of Movie Masters Dark Knight figures at a local Wal-Mart and was immediately wanting them. Unfortunately, I didn't have the petty cash at the time. They disappeared FAST, particularly the Joker, and I only managed to snag the Bat myself. Oddly, it seemed they never restocked, and I have never seen those figures again in any other stores, only at outrageous prices on the internet. Still trying to land a Joker figure... (I'll worry about getting his Thug AFTERWARDS). Anyway, sometime last week, during one of my regular checks to see if they finally got more, I discovered the second wave (a second wave after the first only got stocked once?!!! And only at Wal-Mart stores? Anyone seen these anywhere else? Anyone still seeing Wave 1?). This second wave included a Batman Begins style Batman, the Scarecrow, and a chase figure (good luck finding chase figures of these toys) of the demonic looking Batman from Scarecrow's fear toxin hallucination. This is...

(Not quite) the end
The third, and last, season of Batman Beyond was a big step above the decline in quality that was found in the sub-par second season of the animated series, and thank God (or Paul Dini and Bruce Timm) for that. As the third season begins, Terry McGinnis (voiced by Will Friedle) has his hands full as the Batman of the future as old villains Ink, Zeta, and the Royal Flush Gang return. It gets better though, as Talia Al Ghul, the daughter of Ra's Al Ghul, returns and makes a stunning offer to the aging Bruce Wayne, with huge results and an even bigger twist. This episode is worth picking this DVD collection up for alone as we get to see Bruce and Terry side by side fighting. It gets better with the two-parter "The Call", as Terry gets the call of a lifetime from Superman (given a great new futuristic look) to join the Justice League in an effort to uncover a traitor, with even more shocking results! Batman also takes on Big Time, a former friend from Terry's past, and then goes toe...
The Return of Ra's Al Ghul!
If you are a fan of these cartoons, and if you already own "Batman Beyond: Season One" and "Batman Beyond: Season Two," then you really should not think twice about purchasing the final volume in the BATMAN BEYOND series because it concludes an excellent television show, and it has thirteen absolutely magnificent episodes. Here is the episode list, with a very small description of each episode, so not a lot of the plot will be ruined: 1) King's Ransom -- The Royal Flush Gang returns. 2) Untouchable -- Batman must face a new villain, The Repellar. 3) Inqueling -- Ink returns, and so does her daughter! 4) Big Time -- Big Time, a friend from Terry's past returns. 5) Out of the Past -- Talia Al Ghul, Ra's Al Ghul's daughter and Bruce Wayne's past love from "Batman: The Animated Series," visits Bruce on his birthday. 6) Speak No Evil -- Batman helps a genically enhaced gorilla find his mother's killer. 7) The Call: Part I -- Superman...
Matured Nicely
In the third (and unfortunately final) season of Batman Beyond, the show's creators settle into a rhythm that's really reminiscent of their finer moments in the much heralded Batman: The Animated Series. Having followed the series from its debut episode right up until the final, I can state that the entire third season manages to feel very natural in terms of character interaction and setting mood. While not as unpredictable as the first season, the third was wise to put Maxine Gibson (from season 2) on the backburner. Terry is much more able to explore his own thoughts and feelings as the new Batman with Bruce to back him up when the going gets rough. Note: Max is still present in many episodes, but her role is a bit more subtle. Unlike Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond doesn't run quite a tight rouge's gallery. There are some reoccurring villains (such as Inque, Blight, The Jokerz, etc.) but nothing like the staples found in the original Batman...

Great game for Batman fans...
This game is a great Batman game, and very different than any Super-Hero game you've ever come across. It reminds me more of a spy game than a regular Batman game. You get to use the Bat-Tank, which was one of the more fun parts of the game. If you're looking for a normal beat-em-up superhero game, don't look at this one. This is a slightly slow game, but still entertaining in my opinion.
Best Batman game Ever!
This is a great adaptation of the new Batman film "Batman Begins." This game allows you to learn the tricks of the trade (of crime fighting, of course). It doesn't follow the movie scene by scene, but it has great missions that are chronicled in the movie. Fight the thugs, fight escaped Arkham inmates, fight Ras' Al Ghul, and save Gotham City from the League of Shadows.
The Best Batman Game Ever!!!!!!!!!
I got this game on my birthday last year on december and it is a really fun game to play with and it was an easy game and it is great and the game is just too cool and in this game you get to use stealth and lean on walls and you get to do amazing combos just like in the movie and it is a really fun game but this game is just an excellent game and a really good game and you should get it,it is worth it!

Monkey On My Back - LATEST ARTICLES - Red Robin, Best of the Bats?

Posted by admin Feb 07, 2012

To say I’m the Bat fan of the lot here would very likely be stating the unsubtle so I’ll keep away from it (oh sh!t, I already have…). To put the place’s name into situation it’s unprejudiced to say that the Murk Knight is the Monk on my back (or should it be airborne rodent on my back?). I’m picking up melodic much all of the Bat books at the half a second, and as I’ve said elsewhere I mark that at this formerly, if you are inflicted with the same qualification as me, then you in fact are spoilt for preference. On my outrun liber veritatis at the two shakes of a lamb's tail are, Detective comics, which is featuring a very subfuscous but enjoyable Batwoman recounting, Batman, undeniable (or should that be Schindler’s Snap out of it Liber veritatis?), Streets of Gotham, which has been following the chronicle of Hush infuriating to give away the Wayne one's own flesh opulence (there’s a TV show I hope for to see: Bat kith and kin fortunes, presented by the Zany) Gotham Sirens, featuring the misadventures of Pestilence Ivy, Harley Quinn and Catwoman, and for all time, Red Robin....

Wow. Look at this past decade. So many of our favorite superheroes who were once thought to be only entertaining enough for children are now getting their own movies which then turn into huge franchises. Of course, movies and comic books are 2 very different mediums and sometimes things get changed from the comic when transitioning to the big screen. This is mostly true when you have a character from Marvel or DC. The characters from those companies have been around for years, longer than the span of many of our lives. And, when you have characters that have been around that long, you are going to have some really powerfully awesome stories and you are going to have some really terrible cheesy

How do I unlock Ra's Al Ghul, Hush, Arkham asylum bonus level, and Wayne Manor bonus level on Lego Batman?

Can you reccomend any more great Ra's Al Ghul stories?

Rainer answers: Another one, which I think most people won't find that good, was Batman: Death and the Maidens.
It wasn't like an arc or anything, but a single book written by Greg Rucka and illustrated by Klaus Janson.
Ra's dies, as a sort of "back-plot",
