The Red Tornado is a manifestation of the Tornado Champion contained by an android host body. This entire wave if a set of good solid action figures and in my book if this series continues it will give Marvel Legends a run for its money. I've tried to stay on board with ML but they just aren't as good since the switch over from Toybiz to Hasbro (that's just this man's opinion). Another plus for this line is that it has a build a figure (or collect and connect a figure) that only requires that you buy 5 figures to complete. Much easier on the wallet than the 8 Hasbro makes you buy.

Red Tornado, an android and an air elemental, sports a good solid sculpt. Nothing too extreme though, but then he is an android. The modified T hips are a big plus as they preserve the sculpt there better than ball joints and are just as functional. The cape looks good and does not get in the way.

Articulation is not as extreme as old Toybiz ML figures (which would sometimes boast over 30 points but this included fingers and double pin knees and arms and such) but perfect for a great amount of poses without hurting the look of the figure. These average around 20 solid articulation points.

The paint application on the yellow sripes though is a bit on the inconsisent side. There are several thin areas where the red shows through and some slop. Nothing major but it is noticable. I'd keep an eye out if buying in person.

His accessories are a red tornado (how appropriate) that looks great and fits tightly on his hand and a piece of Element Man (Metamorpho). If you collect all 5 in this wave you can build a cool looking Element Man a/k/a Rex Mason. He is in scale with all the others but sports a really detailed sculpt and great range of colors. He comes with 3 accessories of his own. A lava hand, a hammer hand and a mud (I hope) leg. You can snap these on and he looks really dynamic. Great idea. I hope future series do as well.

This scarce 22 by 16 inch Red Tornado promotional poster was produced in very small numbers and was distributed only to authorized comic book shop dealers. This comic store promo poster was never for sale to the public. Of the small number of these promo posters that were produced, most of the surviving posters have been previously displayed, damaged, or destroyed, making them even more rare. Promo posters are shipped to comic book shop retailers folded, which is normal for promotional posters.
